NaturalizeUS ("the App") is developed and operated by ImmSight LLC. This Privacy Policy explains how the App handles your information.

Information We Collect

Information You Provide

• State and congressional district — Used to personalize civics test answers with your local elected officials. This information is stored only on your device.

Automatically Collected Information

• Microphone audio — When you enable "Practice Responding," the App uses your device's microphone to capture your spoken answers. Audio is processed entirely on-device using Apple's Speech framework. No audio is recorded, stored, or transmitted.

Information from Third Parties

• Elected officials data — The App requests publicly available U.S. government data (governor, senators, representative, etc.) from our API at api.immsight.us based on your selected state and district. No personal information is sent with this request.

Advertising

The App uses Google AdMob to display advertisements. AdMob may collect and use device identifiers and usage data to serve ads. If you grant permission through Apple's App Tracking Transparency prompt, AdMob may show personalized ads. If you deny permission, only non-personalized ads are shown.

You may purchase a one-time "Remove Ads" upgrade to permanently disable all advertisements.

Data Storage

All user data — including your state, district, quiz progress, bookmarks, and preferences — is stored locally on your device using Apple's UserDefaults. No data is uploaded to our servers or any third party.

Data We Do Not Collect

• No account or login required
• No names, email addresses, or contact information
• No location data (GPS, IP-based, or otherwise)
• No analytics or usage tracking
• No data is sold or shared with third parties

Third-Party Services

Children's Privacy

The App does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. The App contains no objectionable content and is rated 4+.

Your Choices

• Tracking — You can allow or deny ad tracking when prompted, or change this anytime in Settings > Privacy & Security > Tracking.
• Microphone — Speech recognition is only used when you enable "Practice Responding." You can revoke microphone access in Settings > NaturalizeUS.
• Remove Ads — Purchase the one-time "Remove Ads" upgrade to disable all advertising.
• Delete Data — Deleting the App removes all locally stored data.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be reflected by updating the "Effective Date" above. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
